Acer Beni Hime

One of the smallest forms of maple, this is a wonderful and rare cultivar. The fingernail-sized red foliage makes the plant especially good for bonsai, and the tree makes an unusual feature in the garden. Stays tight in growth habit, yet it can be very vigorous. Prefers a sheltered site in full sun to part shade. Deciduous.
